"Parliamentary Indiscretions." The Return of Jacek Kurski, a Marketing Mistake by Sławomir Mentzen

"Parliamentary Indiscretions." The Return of Jacek Kurski, a Marketing Mistake by Sławomir Mentzen

Jacek Kurski wants to return to the Polish Sejm.

"He has no choice, because the PiS chairman can't imagine Jacek heading TVP again. After his recent experiences, he won't do it," says a politician close to Jarosław Kaczyński.

Although the former president of TVP had greater ambitions, the defeat in the last elections to the European Parliament made the politician start planning more achievable goals.

"The worst part is that he has a house in the States, where his wife lives. Jacek has to work hard to afford all this," our interlocutor says.

Despite everything, the former TVP president maintains a level head. Aware that he wasn't the most important strategist in Karol Nawrocki's campaign, he told his campaign staff: "Bielan took care of Donald Trump, and I took care of Zenek." He was referring to a video featuring Zenek Martyniuk, who initially faced Rafał Trzaskowski and then Karol Nawrocki at the end of the campaign. In the video featuring the Civic Coalition candidate, when asked if there would be a sequel, Zenek Martyniuk replied: "Time will tell." In the next video, Karol Nawrocki says: "Mr. Zenek, there's a sequel. Time has shown." To which the musician replies: "That's it."

During the campaign, Jacek Kurski gained notoriety for another recording, telling a TVP journalist that her company's employees should behave themselves because he would return (as president of TVP). The recording was poorly received. Karol Nawrocki, in response to the X portal, wrote, "Over my dead body." This incident also had repercussions within the party.
